Another great place for a good bite is Stackers Burger Cafe which is located in Eastwood City Walk in Libis Quezon City. Stackers will surely change the way you look at burgers once you tasted any type of burger in their menu. Well, this was my impression when I first tasted their burger.  And I found myself going back to stackers craving for more even though it is around 20kms drive from my house, It is worth the 1 hour drive. Stackers offer 100% Australian pure beef burgers, with your choice of sauce. And yes the serving is enough to fill your hungry stomach as they offer Quarter pound beef patties, single, double or triple decker.

Stackers Burger Cafe have a very limited sitting space if you prefer to sit inside for the comfort of aircon, but if sitting outside is not an issue, you will be able to get a space right away.

First, we ordered an Asian Burger Bowl, It can be served with or without burger patty. With romaine lettuce, shredded red cabbage, carrots, chopped nuts with oriental dressing.  Price at P98.00. This salad is very tasty and healthy as well. Serving size is just right for the value you paid for. With or without the burger patty, you will surely love this dish.

philly cheeseburger

This is the Philly Cheese Burger, a quarter pounder beef patty with sauteed sweet bell peppers, onion rings, mozzarella cheese with ranch dressing on a long bun.  Price at P150. When they say sweet bell pepper, you will surely taste the sweetness of the pepper in your burger, at first bite, it feels weird but the more you chew it, the more you want to have the next bite. The mozzarella cheese is like the one melted on top of a hot pizza.   The Beef Patty is soft and juicy, it taste really different from burgers of the typical fast food, you can say that these are burgers with style.

Here is the Crunchy Burger. It has  lettuce, mayo, beef patty, american cheese, tomato, onion bits, mushroom, Texmex sauce and crispy strips price at P165.00 . This is another great burger from stackers, it is very juicy and moist, another observation is they have soft and tasty burger buns, in fact, its too soft that it tends to stick at the back of your teeth.

Another thing you have to try is the Garlic Chips.  It is cripsy fries tossed with garlic & herbs. If you ever order fries, you should ask for this one because the ordinary fries is like the typical fries other restaurant has.

For solo order price is at P60.00.  You can also opt for a value meal that they offer, just add P60.00 to any burger you order for a fries and 12oz. soda.

stackers iced tea

For a great refreshment, try Stackers Iced Tea.  Large size price at P45.00. The iced tea is not the ordinary ice tea when compared to other restaurants, this one taste extra different. You might want to check it out.

Overall, we give high praises for the food taste at 5/5. Another 5/5 for the creativity. Its a little bit pricey for burgers so I give a 3/5 for the price.

banapple

Another place for a great meal is at Banapple. Banapple is famous for their pies and cakes, but they do have good food for lunch and dinner as well. We visited this branch at IL Terrazo in Tomas Morato. The Restaurant is quite small with only 2-3 small tables inside which can only accommodate a few customers.  But They have more tables outside. The only problem is if you are a non-smoker you wont be too happy to sit outside. Another thing I do not like is the table. The design of the table is nice, they use round marbles (holen) with cement and use the marbles as the face of the table, but since the table is too small and marbles have very smooth surface, its really inconvenient to place your glass of iced tea or plate on the table as it easily slides off.

creamy chicken pie with potato salad

One of my favorites at Banapple is the Creamy chicken pie served with potato salad, price at P100.00, you’ll get a really huge pie cut in half stuffed with creamy chicken meat. I’m not a huge fan of potato salad, but the salad was just ok for me. This is also good for sharing for 2 persons. I personally loved this dish since I really like chicken pie, and this is probably the largest chicken pie I have encountered, and not to mention the good taste of the moist chicken meat of the pie, This is also best for kids who dislike eating rice for their main meal.

fettucine jacintha

For pasta, a good choice is the Fettucine Jacintha.  Price at P130.00, the pasta is cooked al-dente served with bread. Eating this dish reminds me of carbonara, not as creamy as a carbonara but equally delicious. The serving size is just enough for its price. A good recommendation for cream based pasta lovers.

For a rice meal, we ordered Herbed Chicken Rolls with basil cream sauce, served with garlic rice and some carrot sticks on the side.  Price at P160.00. The sauce is cream based and the chicken roll is stuffed with their special herbs which makes every bite a wonder. The chicken piece is relatively ok for the price.

iced tea

And like every meal, having a nice ice cold drink is the best way to complement your meal.  If you love the ice tea of CPK and Pasto, I believe you will also like the iced tea of banapple.

Overall, we give 5/5  for the food, 5/5 for the price and 2/5 for the ambiance. We will surely visit banapple again, and feature the desserts next.
