iceberg’s eskimo bob

We were passing by the long-stretch of Esplanade Sunset Strip in Pasay City, when Iceberg’s Eskimo Bob catches our attention.  Take a look how it looks like from outside.  No wonder one, adults and kids, will be intrigued to try their resto.

For Starters, we ordered their Macho Nachos, crunchy color violet and yellow tacos, with a bit spicy(for kid’s category) but, juicy chili con-carne, with  their fresh salsa and creamy cheese sauce.  This dish was served with a very hot plate, the more we were tempted to devour it quickly.  I can say, having a small stomach this is only good for 2 hungry pax for the price of P148.00 vat inclusive.

And for our main dish, we ordered Bacon Ham Mushroom Fettuccine, not that creamy to my taste.  I can say,this is just a simple dish, that can easily be prepared at home without a blink-of-an-eye.  The pasta was al-dente, but the sauce is not that creamy sauce as we have expected it to be, with the sizing portion enough for one person.  And oh by the way,  I noticed that it seems like they used margarine instead of butter on garlic bread.  This dish costs P168.00 vat inclusive.

Bacon Ham Mushroom Fettuccine

Their version of Boneless Chicken Barbecue is kinda sour, i guess they marinade it with too much calamansi(our local version of lime), and the serving portion is small for it’s  price of P158.00.  But I honestly love the plating hehe, coz’ I love chopped parsley on top of my meal hehe.  You could choose two sidings for this kind of dish, I chose plain rice and french fries.  My son devoured their french fries, it’s not salty and not that oily, I guess they baked it, and they sliced it just like potato wedges.

Lastly, their Chicken Cordon Bleu is perfect to our taste.  Crispy flour-coated chicken with cooked ham filling.  Not salty but, oily what do you expect this is Cordon Bleu simply says i’m deep fried. but then it is truly tasty!  Maybe because of the ham?    We chose Garlic Buttered Rice and Corn and Carrots as sidings and the yellow one sauce is cheese (at first I thought it was butter!)  Serving size is just right at P158.00, for if you eat more than this size, will surely bloat you quickly.
